The unexplained deaths in the mangrove have not deterred authorities: The ceremonies will go on as planned in Kuala Lumpur, despite Mezoke’s resistance and growing disagreement with Caleb. But the official optimism is soon dampened by news of further destruction, closer to the city. And when Nina and Angus return with the identity of the killer, an old enemy of the Confederation, the agents will be forced to act in desperation—and, maybe, to pay the ultimate price.
Story:ABSOLUTELY BLOODY SUPERB AND GRIPPING.
Artwork: TOP NOTCH
That’s the basic stuff. Following on from the last volume we see Caleb and Mezoke on their mission so we have the twists, turns, betrayals and more not to mention the aliens, alien scenery and much much more.
*****! ****! ****! The ending!!! AAARGH. Oh…my….gods…am I going to sleep? Can I eat? Of course. But I’m padding from foot-to-foot on the spot because of THAT ending!!!
Buy this book. Buy the series! If this doesn’t get some type of award then nothing else should. This one may have just pushed Valerian from its #1 position for me. Seriously -this is what a comic should be!!!!!!
